VossionEyewear

Eyewear development & manufacturing · Yingtan, Jiangxi

The factory behind
independent eyewear brands.

You design the frame. We handle CAD, tooling, sampling and production. The engineering and QC team came out of Shenzhen; the plant sits inside one of China's five major eyewear clusters, where plating and components are on the same estate. Most of the brands we build for are in their first three seasons.

Product lines

Three lines.
Two material systems.

Most factories pick one material and specialise. We run acetate and metal on separate lines, then build the combination frames that sit between them — the category most suppliers quietly decline.

01 — Acetate

Acetate Optical Frames

Italian and Chinese cellulose acetate, cut from block, tumble-polished in six stages. Colour is matched by sheeting code — send the block number, we pull the same lot.

02 — Metal

Metal Optical Frames

Sheet metal and wire frames in stainless steel, monel and titanium. Four standard finishes — gold, rose gold, gunmetal and matte black — plated in the park's regulated zone and inspected on return.

03 — Combination

Acetate & Metal Combination Frames

Acetate front, metal temple — or the reverse. The joint is the whole game, and it is the reason most factories decline this work.

Who we build for

New brands.
First collections. No factory.

Our clients are independent labels with a point of view and no manufacturing capability — usually in their first three seasons, usually coming from a supplier who did not work out.

01

Three colours, one model

The minimum is 300 pcs per model — and it splits into 100 pcs per colour. A first season can test three colourways without doubling the order.

02

No technical team needed

Send a sketch. We produce the CAD, the drawings and the DFM review — you approve them.

03

Your IP, in writing

NDA first. Tooling is yours. Your design never appears in another client's quote.

04

A supplier you can reach

One named contact, direct WhatsApp, a reply inside 12 working hours.

How development works →

Before you try again

Three ways a factory
lets a new brand down

Most of our first conversations are with brands that have already been through one of these. It is worth naming them plainly.

01

The quote that never arrives

You send drawings, hear nothing for two weeks, then receive a number with no explanation of how it was reached — or what it excludes.

02

The minimum that is not one

MOQ quoted at 300, then a setup charge appears that makes 300 uneconomic. You find out after you have already committed the design.

03

The date that quietly moves

65 days is promised, 90 is delivered, and you learn about it when you chase — with a launch date already printed on your marketing.

What we changed because of it

Every quotation states what is included, what is excluded, and the quantity at which tooling is credited. Dates are given as ranges with the dependencies named — and if a date slips, you hear it from us before you have to ask.

What we will not do

We will not accept an order we cannot schedule. We will not quote a price we would have to revise. And we will tell you when a design will not build, even when saying yes would win the order.

Where we build

We moved the plant.
Not the standards.

2016 · Founded in Shenzhen   /   2023 · Moved to Yingtan

Factories that go inland usually rebuild themselves from nothing and call the result a second plant. We did something narrower: in 2023 we moved the plant itself — the engineers, the QC files, the customer standards and the supervisors who ran them — from Shenzhen to the Yingtan eyewear cluster, and carried on with the same drawings and the same inspection sheet.

Yingtan is one of China's five major eyewear manufacturing bases. More than 300 manufacturers work inside the park, and components, lenses, cases and tooling are all within it. A purpose-built centralised plating zone handles the step most likely to cause a compliance failure — on site, under environmental supervision, rather than subcontracted to whoever is cheapest that month.

So the price difference is land, labour and logistics. It is not a cheaper frame.

Same drawing. Same tolerance. Same inspection sheet. Different postcode.

What a buyer sees on a visit

Six positions we are documenting now. Stock photography in these slots is the fastest way to lose a factory visit.

Four lines, 60,000 pairs a month

Acetate, metal, combination and lens assembly run as separate cells rather than one shared floor. It costs more space; it means an acetate delay never stalls a metal order.

Our own finishing. Our own testing.

Polishing, assembly and hand adjustment happen on our floor. Plating does not — it runs in the park's centralised zone, and every lot comes back to our bench for adhesion and colour checks before it is accepted. Salt-spray and nickel-release testing happens before packing, not at the buyer's warehouse.

Before you ask

The five questions
every buyer sends first

If yours is not here, it is probably on the development page.

What is your minimum order?

300 pcs per model, with a minimum of 100 pcs per colour — the same for all three lines. Ordering below 100 per colour is possible on existing tooling when the colour is already in stock; ask, and we will tell you honestly whether it works.

How much does sampling cost?

Sampling is quoted per project and depends on whether new tooling is required. The cost is normally credited against the bulk order once it is placed.

Can you work from our own drawing?

That is most of what we do. Send AI, PDF or DXF artwork — 1:1 scale with dimensions. We return a tooling assessment within two working days.

What are the payment terms?

30% deposit on order confirmation, 70% against the bill of lading. Letter of credit accepted for orders above 5,000 pieces.

How long from purchase order to delivery?

65 days for all three lines, counted from golden-sample approval — acetate, metal and combination run the same clock. Tooling and sampling sit in front of that and are quoted separately.
