We learned this trade in Shenzhen, building frames for export clients who inspected everything. In 2023 we moved the plant to the Yingtan eyewear cluster in Jiangxi — and took the engineers, the QC documentation and the customer standards with us. Nothing about how we work changed. Only where we do it.
What actually changed
Cheap and good are not opposites. They are usually just poorly organised.
The old rule was that quality follows geography: Shenzhen makes the good frames, everywhere else makes the cheap ones. That held while the only thing an inland factory had was cheaper labour.
What changed is that whole plants moved. From 2017 the Wenzhou and Shenzhen clusters began relocating into Yingtan in groups rather than one factory at a time — machines, process sheets, supervisors and export order books arriving together. The park now hosts over 300 manufacturers, and it has the one piece of infrastructure you cannot fake: a centralised plating zone, built for the cluster, with the environmental controls that European auditors ask about.
We were part of that move. What we did not leave behind is the way we work — same AQL, same tolerance drawings, same habit of testing before shipping rather than after the complaint. A buyer who audited us in Shenzhen would recognise the paperwork.
We are not the cheapest factory in the park. We are the one that will still be answering your emails in year three.

We are not a trading company with a rented photo studio. We do not accept orders we cannot schedule. We will decline a project if the tolerance or the quantity does not work — before you pay for tooling, not after.
